Just Answer.com charged my account without my authorization.
As I said above, this company charged my card without my authorization. I gave consent to charge one dollar.
Then the next thing I asked was do I need to pay to have my questions answered. The chat person didnt respond to this but said they could have a tech person help me w/o a problem. Then it came up that for $26 and some odd cents they could transfer me to a tech person. At that point I closed out of the site.
This morning when my husband looked at our account, there was a $46 charge. I called them and using an automated system, the amount was supposed to be removed and back in my account in 3-5 days. I dont know why, but I opened my account and the I had not one but two charges from justanswer.com on my account.
This time I called and spoke to an actual person who told me the account was closed and money would be refunded in 3-5 days I told her I had two $46 deductions pending on my account now and she argued with me that I didnt, my account was closed. I told her about the reviews that we read online about the company and she said what a great company it is.
I told her if that additional amount remains on my account , she would definitely be hearing from me again. I only worry what else they may do to my accounts!

I was transferred to the site justanswer.com from searching pro-bone attorney for my question. Site mentioned the charge of $2.
4 useless attorney didn't provide any answers and just wasted my time. One attorney partially answer and I paid bonus $4. In total it should be charge for $6, but when I received my statement, there were 2 charges - for $6 and $86.
After call to customer service they mentioned additional $86 was a membership which is not refundable. My words and their records, showing the answer wasn't answered and I was disappointed with their service and never signed for the membership, were totally ignored.

I didn’t know I was being sent to just answer
I was pissed. Will dispute the charges .
I was unaware of just answer being involved until I got the friggin bill. How dare you people just jump in at any time and start billing people like me.
If I knew you were involved I wouldve hung up.what gives you the right to jump into a situation and turn around and already billing them. This is *** and every one I know will know about it.

I spoke to Noor Kubra on 1 October 2023, via a pop up on my Microsoft page, about problem using Microsoft. I thought she was talking to me on behalf on Microsoft.
She said there would be a small fee, which was refundable. I agreed and paid with my Absa Visa card. She gave me an alternate phone number for Microsoft. 080016****
At no stage did she mention that i was registering on JustAnswer!
There was no discussion about a monthly charge of R599.
When i checked my October and November credit card statements i see you have debited my account on 1 October and 1 November without my authorisation. Subsequent enquiries with my bank have advised me that you have a refund policy thus i should request that all amounts be refunded.
DO NOT DEBIT MY ACCOUNT AGAIN.
KINDLY RESPOND IMMEDIATELY.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Logged a complaint through pissedconsumers.com and sent an email to one of the customer service representatives that helped another person. After a few quick emails my account was credited back for the $39 for previous month and the charges for the current month were rescinded.
What the heck? This is their error, but somehow I am not entitled to a refund?

User's recommendation: Don't ever use this company. They will bait and switch you into signing up to the $39.99 a month plan and not the $2.50 question you thought you wre paying for. Customer service will tell you that the charge is nonrefundable. When you ask for s supervisor none will be available.

This is nothing new for them doing that to people. When you go to check reviews about Just Answer, On different review sites, There are provely over 40 negative reviews or more, Stating in them where they have done that.
