JustAnswer does not respect its customers or Experts. I was an Expert on the platform until I was terminated one morning by random.
The company changed my category credential requirement and said my account had been terminated immediately.
I had no way to contest this and show them my other qualifying credential and years of experience.
They did not warn me or give me notice to verify my other credential, they locked me out of my account immediately and would not allow me to provide further information. They stopped responding to me altogether and left me in the dark about my pending paycheck.
Additionally, Experts are penalized for unhappy customers, yet many of the customers are unhappy because of Just Answers billing practices, which has nothing to do with the Experts, but is used against us and our earnings daily.
My advice is, run don't walk from this company, they are a mess and their customer support is likely overseas, meaning you will not get your issue resolved no matter how hard you try.

I asked for a sick note from the virtual assistant. The lady said she would connect me with the doctor.
She never said no sick note is provided. She connected me with a doctor. Doctor asked for my symptoms, I told him and said but what I need is sick note.
Then after providing solution to problem I already have. He said no sick note is provided by them.
Thats a rip off.
Now I was charged $66 .
Why? For what? I dont mind the $2 as its a one-time fee. Even though I had my answer , they still decided to provide solution and claim the $2
But the $66 .
Thats not possible. I would like a refund.

I have tried getting proper answers from them, 12 times Starting in 2008.Till present, Every time i was testing them , To see if there peeple answering the questions , Were actullly certified techs, Most of the qustions i ask had to do with audio equipment hookup, Or i also ask questions about problems with vehicles, I am a a certified electonic engineer, And i also a certified auto body technichian, I work as a autobody tech, For 35 years, And own my own shop, I retired in 2021, but to cut though the chase here, All i can stay about just answer , I can clearly tell that in no means , From the basic questions i was asking ,To get help on , Afer getting answers from these wanabee techs, That they were certified , From the answers i was getting from them , Especially on audio equipment hookup , From the answer i got from these *** , the way they explian ,How to hookup the equipment, You would not begetting any sound out of the speakers, Any one that is actullay certified, Should be able to answer your qestiion right away, Not 20 minutes after you ask it.

I saw in an email that you sent to me that you were helping me find legal representation. While I very much appreciate that, I saw that you were recommending JustAnswer.
I have already had my unpleasant acquaintance with JustAnswer and when I see that I am dealing with moneygrabbers of the worst variety, I block all access to them.
I might add that while I lived in Israel (a prolonged nightmare that I wish I could forget), I experienced a divorce there, and as I learned there, once a person contacts a lawyer for representation, up front come the exorbitant demands. With that being the introduction, it will only get worse. There was an organization there at the time that offered mediation services, and while it was not a recognized profession there at the time, that organization's founder handled my case and got me through it with only $200 to pay for everything. $200 is much easier to digest than $10,000, which is what all the lawyers were demanding, and the mediator was able to close the case completely in only three months time; because of the dual court system there, some cases go on for decades, and there was one well-known case in which the husband went to prison for denying his wife a divorce and he ended up dying there many years later of old age.
By then, his wife was too old for having children to be anything more than a daydream.
The founder asked me if I would help her write a book about the work that she did. I agreed, so she gave me the material from her many divorce cases for me to review and to write a book about it all. I did so and the book was published in January 1985. The reason I am writing is because the name of the book was Divorce Your Lawyer.
The book is no longer in print, but I appeared with the founder as well as another mediator in the organization in a talk show on the one existing television channel that Israel had at the time. The result was that tons of calls came in for all three of us in many places in which we had associations. In my case, my supervisor in the bank in which I was employed at the time couldn't handle all the calls coming in, so I had to have the operator tell callers I could not be reached.
After that experience, I became very sensitive to the subject of hiring lawyers, and while I did have three lawyers during my stay there who were very professional and very reputable, they were the exception, not the rule.
Since returning to the United States, I have had only very negative experiences with lawyers; I could go into detail to tell the full horror story, but I will omit that now. Just be aware that a pissed consumer is very likely to end up even more pissed if he/she deals with a lawyer; finding one who is halfway decent is like throwing a penny in a wishing well at best!
