I asked a medical question on Web MD which then transferred my question about symptoms to Just Answer. I agreed to pay $5 for the response but got only a textbook answer that was not specific to my question.

I suspected something was "off" so I immediately checked my bank account on line and found they had not only charged me $5 for a bogus answer but also an additional $40 as if I had agreed to become a member. When I tried to cancel with the site I received a response that I was not a member.

Stay away from Just Answer and shame on Web MD for turning me over to this site. A horrible experience!

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

Monetary Loss: $45.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

JustAnswer Cons: Being ripped off.

I believe you are correct in that I did not understand the total cost for an answer was $45. I really felt I was being ripped off after reading some other reviews of "Just Answer" on line so I cancelled my debit card and here a week later I'm still waiting for a replacement from my credit union.

I now wish I had just waited to see that you gave me a full refund within 24 hours or my request for it.

I guess all of us just need to read everything fully before jumping to conclusions. I apologize for any distress I may have caused you.
