JustAnswer - Request for refund of payments withdrawn without consent.
I logged into Just Answer, from South Africa on 24th September, 2017, to request a once-off answer to a question, for which I received a most unsatisfactory response. I paid for this service, using my credit card.
I did not request to take up Membership to Just Answer. There have been a further 3 additional Just Answer membership withdrawals from my account, withdrawn without my consent. I did not sign anything to join any Just Answer Membership.
See below - a promotion for free membership for life- which I did not respond to or join. I expect the Just Answer Company to refund me in full, the amount of R 1, 200.00 , deducted from my account without my consent for the subsequent withdrawals on the following dates: 1 October, 2017 R 400.00 31 October, 2017 R 400.00 1 December, 2017 R 400.00 Total to date: R1,200.00
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $95.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
JustAnswer Cons: Being ripped off and underhand withdrawals without consent.

They are as underhanded as business come. They got me as well even though I had cancelled the automatic subscription immediately after asking my one time question.
They said without a screenshot of my cancellation they could not refund me because well basically...they didn't believe me ! Who takes a screenshot of every thing they do online ???
They took me for at least $235. Ruined my credit. Sneaky heartless individuals.
These are thieves and fraudsters.Nothing more.They deducted membership fee that i didn't agree to.Crap
I did not ask any question, never give number of my bankcard and even was deleted without any note every month for 44 Eur till I discovered it! Refund they "promise" only 3 months!

these people are experts at ripping people off it is so bad the best way and appropriate word to use is THEFT they steal our money but juist you try to get a refund. try contacting the complaint line you will get a message saying the complaint line is full .

On 28 November 2018 I contacted JUSTANSWER for technical help with accessing my TREZOR. I paid a deposit of $5.00 using my VISA Card (Deposit 180072**** US) Before I could engage with your technician I was called away to attend to an emergency.
I switched off my computer before leaving. On 3 December 2018 I was billed $48.00 (TECH HELP 180072**** US) without resolution of my problem. I am agreeable to paying the deposit of $5 but not to the charge of $48.
