Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Scammed me out of $95.00
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
The company just offered me a refund. Glad they finally realized what I was saying
Was chatting with Prime Video about a technical problem; apparently, they use a company called Just Answer. In the chat, I was told to go to Just Answer, and for a $5.00 refundable fee, I could chat with a technician.
But instead of getting charged and refunded $5.00, I was charged $95.00.
Tried to get a refund, but even with proof of conversation, they refuse to refund. Will take it up with the credit card.
- Useless

They just stole 79.00 dollars from me for a question. Thought they were Peacock..
- Rep charged $70 for a service I agreed to $5 for and did not want a technician.
- The user did not want a technician but was charged anyway.
I went online to speak with a Rep. from Peacock.
A lady named [PERSON_NAME] stole 70.00 dollars for question. When I only agreed to pay 5.00 for the service. I also told her I did not want to speak to a technician. She took my money anyway supposedly for speaking with a technician.
I feel like I was robbed by gun point. I thought she was a Peacock Representative.

- Charged $65 monthly for eight months (about $520).
- I canceled, but charges continued.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. They paid me back almost $700 in charges.
It took me about seven hours of dealing with them, reporting them and threatening to sue them. Just stay on them. They had actually hung up on me six times.
I reported them to every government agency that I could report them to to consumer affairs to everything. I had found on my government page that they had a lawsuit pending against them so I also use that information and told them that I will join the lawsuit or I will start my own lawsuit against them.
I hope thats not showing up my e-mail. Oh thats not showing up she cant help me she said I said I just canceled the membership with you guys through my credit card number now youre telling me that you cannot reimburse me anything because I dont show up in your system. Verified Reviewer |I was charged $70.00 to dispute my refund.
- Temu refund requested; transferred to Just Ask Lawyer.
- A $70 charge for disputing the refund; plans to contact BBB and close Temu account.
After I had requested a refund from Temu, i was told that I was going get a call from someone from Temu to discuss the refund. I was transferred over to a Just Ask Lawyer.
I spoke to someone , she did the refund , but then I was charged $70.00 for the call to dispute my refund. What the *** would you charge $70.00? The customer has a right to know that they will be charged $70.00 to dispute the charges. I will contact the Better Business Bureau. If I don't get my money refunded from this Just Ask Lawyer company.
This is considered fraud because you don't advise anyone about what's going to happen. I am closing myTEMU account and will warn all my friends on Social media about this.
User's recommendation: My recommendation to future customers is to really do research on the companies that you're buying from online because they throw in expenses that we're not aware of and then they end up overdrafting the accounts.

- Intuit problems; questioned TurboTax.
- Told tax help would cost $5 and be refundable; later charged $45 membership and cancelled with a refund.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. Called the company and spoke to an AI telephonic program.
I was assured I would get a full refund. I received a text confirming my account that I did not sign up for was cancelled and I would be refunded the account fee. I was in my Intuit account trying to download TurboTax. I thought I was communicating with someone from my Intuit account.
I don't know how to avoid getting scammed when you are in a supposed reliable account and you think they are helping you. I agreed to pay a refundable $5, if they could not answer my question.
The next day I was greeted with a non-refundable S45 .membership fee. I never knew I was communicating with JustAnswer.
I don't understand how this company is in my Intuit account. It was disingenuous; I was told for expert tax help I would be charged five dollars, and it was refundable if they didn't answer my questions. Today I received an email indicating that I was charged a $45 membership fee.
I finally found the phone, which is AI, and was told the membership was cancelled and I would get a refund. The robot person did this with no problem.
- Business crooksl thought i was talking to turbo tax

- Charged £38 by a merchant despite not being a member.
- After a refund, charges continued; a £39 debit from April is owed, with details.
I asked 1 question for which I paid 50p so why were JA taking £38 from my bank account every month? The bank suggested I have a new debit card so I did and had a refund of £38 but checking today I saw JA had taken another £38.
How did they know about my new debit card and the numbers and other details? I spoke to someone in the bank who advised me to contact them. I was not a member, ever.
There is another debit owed to me in from April £39,. I have the details.
- One question answered correctly with 50p charge

Verified Reviewer |I see see two debits from my creditcard...
- Debits of 65 (April) and 60 (May) billed without consent.
- I want a refund and cancel the subscription.
- The website is blocked by antivirus.
I see see two debits from my creditcard account: one of 65 in April and one of 60 in May. I never wanted any subscription to this company and my crditcard company tells me to email them first. But I can't even go to their website because my virusscanner won't allow my to (talking about red flags!).
How can I get my money back and cancel this subscription?
